These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the SEAJOBS portal, operated by Liberty Dreams LTD ("Liberty Dreams", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales under number 12724306, VAT number GB353810900, with registered office at Carpenter Court, 1 Maple Road, Bramhall, Stockport SK7 2DH, United Kingdom.
By accessing or using SEAJOBS, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, by our Privacy Policy and by our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree with any of these provisions, please do not use the portal.
SEAJOBS is a maritime crew matching platform that connects qualified maritime professionals (candidates) with registered shipping companies and maritime service providers. The platform allows registered companies to consult candidate profiles, while candidates can register and keep their professional profile up to date.
SEAJOBS does not guarantee employment or the hiring of any candidate. The final decision to embark lies exclusively with the shipping company and the candidate.
By using SEAJOBS, you consent to receive communications from us by electronic means (email, platform notifications). These communications include operational notices, certificate alerts, service updates and messages related to your application or account.
Informational or promotional communications will require your prior consent in accordance with UK PECR.

All contents of the portal (texts, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, source code and design) are the property of Liberty Dreams LTD or its licensors and are protected by the intellectual property laws of the United Kingdom and the European Union.
The user is granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the portal in accordance with these Terms. The reproduction, distribution, public communication or transformation of the contents without prior written authorisation is prohibited.
By using SEAJOBS, you undertake not to:
Failure to comply with these rules may result in the suspension or cancellation of your account, without prejudice to any legal action that may apply.
Use of the portal is additionally governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Liberty Dreams LTD shall not be liable for:
Our aggregate total liability to any user for the use of the portal shall be limited to the amount effectively paid by that user to Liberty Dreams LTD in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
The portal is provided "as is" and "as available". Liberty Dreams LTD does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. In particular, we do not guarantee the obtaining of employment, the suitability of candidates for a specific position, or the continuous availability of the portal.
We reserve the right to suspend or cancel your account, with or without prior notice, in the event of breach of these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy or applicable law. We may also cancel inactive accounts in accordance with the retention periods indicated in our Privacy Policy.
Paid services contracted by registered companies are managed through WHMCS. The specific conditions of each plan, pricing and cancellation policy are detailed on the Liberty Dreams billing portal. Refunds will be governed by the refund policy published on that portal.
At present, no new company plans are offered as registration is temporarily closed.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Modifications will be effective from their publication on the portal. We will notify you through a visible notice when the changes are material. Continued use of the portal after the publication of the modifications constitutes acceptance thereof.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any statutory rights you have as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable law. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
SEAJOBS operates in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 of the United Kingdom, which protects individuals from discrimination on the basis of protected characteristics (age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation). Any discriminatory content or conduct by users may result in suspension of the account and referral to the relevant authority.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any rights that applicable law may recognise to consumers.
For users residing in the European Economic Area, mutual recognition of maritime professional qualifications is governed by the Trade and Cooperation Agreement between the European Union and the United Kingdom of 2020 (Part 2, Title III). Applicable normative references include Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the recognition of professional qualifications, and its successor Directive (EU) 2024/782, with reference to Cedefop as the competent European authority. Mandatory provisions of the law of the user's Member State of residence that are more protective shall prevail over these Terms.
